Before You Start
- Measure in INCHES ONLY!
- It is a good idea to measure both your spa and your old cover before submitting dimensions.
- Provide both your measured dimensions and the manufacturer and model of your spa.
-
Hinge / fold direction is easy to overlook, please indicate on your order form otherwise we will assume that it is not critical and put it where we feel it is best. Ask yourself, “How do I want my cover to fold?"
Determine the Style
Do you want a cover that just covers the acrylic shell or one whose skirt overlaps the wood cabinet? These are 2 different styles of spa cover, and each requires its own set of measurements. Knowing which one you are wanting will help you include all the measurements we need to build a cover that fits properly.

Measuring Diagrams
Determine the Style. The diagrams below should help you understand the terminology for measurement that are used when ordering a new spa cover.
Remember to use measurements corresponding to the style of cover you would like.
Skirt Length
This measurement is taken by measuring the length of material that starts at the bottom of the foam and hangs down. (See picture)

This measurement may also be determined by finding the shell lip height. (See diagram)

Fastener Length
In order to determine the length of the fastener you will need to take a measurement from the bottom of the foam to the start of the buckle on your existing cover.(See picture)

For placement of fasteners always measure from the outside edge of the cover to the center of the existing fasteners.
Fastener length and location are important to note if this is a concern. Otherwise Cedar Mountain Spa Covers will use standard 8" fasteners locating two on each half of the cover.
